Who, Me? Oh ok, here’s what you need to know.
So, this is the part where I say Hey! For the past 3 years I have supported Ben building Your Video Team, in the past 2 years I have played the hidden supportive role but, enough is enough 😜 I am ready to stand in the spotlight and say, “My name is Rachael and I am an alcho… the Account Manager at Your Video Team”
Ben has asked me 5 questions so you can find out a little more about me:
Question 1: What do you value most in a work environment?
Communcation is key for any working environment. Without it there is no moving forward, you cannot learn and you cannot develop. Mistakes are there to be made and if you can’t discuss and analyse them you are going to continue to make them. That being said, celebrate the achievements. It is important for the team to feel valued and I want our team to know how lucky we are they chose to come and work WITH us!
Question 2: What are you most excited about to work on in your new role?
As the Account Manager I am looking forward to getting out and networking with everyone again. I have missed the face to face interactions and one to one meetings. I am also looking forward to learning about so many different brands, products and skills. I truly am fascinated to learn and with that I can assist with growing other people’s brands and businesses.
Question 3: What is your favourite way to relax after a long day/week at work?
In the past 2 years I have developed a large affliction to Lego building. There is nothing better than putting on a movie whilst disappearing into a Lego set. My favourite set has to be the Friends Lego Sets. They hold a place close to my heart as I watched them from start to finish with my two boys and was bought the sets as part of Mothers Day and Birthday presents. They are displayed pride of place in the living room.
Question 4: Do you have any travel plans coming up or have you travelled anywhere recently that you enjoyed?
Well, funny you should ask as we have a little family holiday coming up to MEXICO!! My bestie is getting married and I am honoured to be supporting as bridesmaid, and wedding planner!! I cannot wait to enjoy this and create some incredible memories. I am also very fortunate to have a Family Merlin Pass and so throughout the year we are often creating crazy memories at Madame Tussauds, Chessington, we have our Annual trip to Scarefest at Alton Towers and of course, Lego Land!
Question 5: Can you share a fun fact about yourself?
No! I am dull and boring, Ha ha!! That isn’t an easy question as fun and silly as I am, I wouldn’t necessarily believe it to be that interesting. I have an Instagram Page that I am attempting to grow a following on and find a ‘Purpose’ for. I love being creative and so when I am not building Lego I can often be found creating arts and crafty memory items for friends and family.
