Networking - the Best investment!
This week I am doing not 1, not 2 but 3 shout outs!!!
Since joining YOUR VIDEO TEAM in January part of my role is to get out there and get networking. In that time we have joined 3 incredible groups each of which all have added different elements to our business, bringing knowledge, collaborations and work!!

So, let me tell you a little about each group:
The Creative Collective ~ Ben and Martin
This group is filled with Creatives who all bring unique skillsets to the group. We have Voice Over artists, Photographers, Videographers, Animators, Designers, Copywriters, the list goes on. What is incredible about this group is that it is all about collaboration.
With us all being apart of the creative industry we often find ourselves needing the skills of each other. YOUR VIDEO TEAM created a video for a partner and used Martin Whiskin as a Voice over. The group offers fantastic advice and support with fortnightly online networking, a facebook group and a secret Whatsapp group 🤫
Federation of Small Businesses ~ Jane and Tim
You may have heard me pipe on about this one quite a bit recently. Well, that is truly because I cannot get enough. The benefits of joining the Federation of Small Businesses have been more than we could have believed. When you look at the cost of joining against the services you can use, you can make your membership pay for itself in one service.
In the 3 months we have been members, we have used their healthcare team, financial advisors, debt recovery and award opportunity. Further to this we have met incredible businesses with whom we are looking to partner with and are in a position to offer sponsorship to enable companies to have more coverage while advertising our own services.
The Federation is not limited to areas with us recently joining online networking groups in Ireland, the Midlands and the Isle of Wight allowing us to spread the word of our business to areas of the UK we would not have been able to reach as easily.
Simply Business Club ~ John Turner
John has created an incredible group with Simply Business Club. With 3 online networking meetings a week and 2 in person meeting every two weeks, YOUR VIDEO TEAM are becoming a formidable force not to be reckoned with. Another amazing collaborative group we are beginning to work alongside businesses with the same mindset and ethos as our team.
It is all about growing each other and this is reflected in Johns use of John F Kennedy’s quote:
“A rising tide lifts all boats”
This is truly a group of inspirational businesses and business owners who are looking to work together to grow. We have created some amazing connections and now friendships within this group’s members as well as creating content for them to use on LinkedIn pages, Websites and other social media platforms.
So, what has networking done for YOUR VIDEO TEAM???
Added a support network of likeminded businesses
Opened up more collaborative opportunities
Enhanced our knowledge of how to run a business successfully
Offered invaluable resources to grow our business
Enabled us access to ares of the country not as easily within reach
Allowed us to create a network of friends in business
and so much more
